Feedee ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy and the privacy of your family. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Feedee app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Feedee is a baby first-foods tracker. It is not a medical app and does not provide medical advice. Always consult your pediatrician about your baby's nutrition and any concerns related to allergies or feeding.
1. Information we collect
When you create a Feedee account and use the app, we collect:
- Account information: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, basic profile information provided by Google (name, email).
- Baby profile information: your baby's name, start date of solids, and feeding style (purée, baby-led weaning, or mixed) — entered voluntarily by you.
- Food tracking data: which foods you've marked as tried, allergen introduction status, dates, and any custom foods you add.
- Usage data: basic app interactions needed to make the app function (e.g. streaks, milestones).
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any data beyond what you explicitly enter into the app.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Save and sync your baby's food tracking progress across your devices
- Show you relevant milestones, streaks, and food suggestions within the app
- Respond to support requests sent to us
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising.
3. Where your data is stored
Your account and food tracking data are stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database and authentication provider. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
4. Third-party services
Feedee uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage
- Google Sign-In (optional) — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy also applies to that authentication process
We do not share your personal data with advertisers or other third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Your rights and choices
You can:
- Edit your baby's profile information at any time from the Account tab
- Change your password from the Account tab
- Sign out at any time
- Delete your account permanently, which removes your account, baby profile, and all food tracking data, from the Account tab
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
6. Children's privacy
Feedee is designed for use by parents and caregivers tracking their baby's food introduction. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Information about a baby (such as a first name and feeding milestones) is entered voluntarily by the parent or caregiver using the app.
7. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Feedee after changes means you accept the updated policy.
